Hellhawk, the Shadow Wings is a mysterious rogue character with quick cooldowns and the ability to refresh his skills when slaying foes. Finally, Storm Bear, the Iron Wall wields a giant sword and has the capability to draw the enemy’s attention with a simple attack.

Each character will be obtainable by simply enhancing a specific character up to Ultimate and using 10 of the new Essence. Bliss Foxy will require a mage, Arrow Trigger an archer, Manalandy a priest, Hellhawk a rogue, and Storm Bear a warrior.

It’s not all about the characters, though, as there are various other updates. For one, players will be able to play as the new Paladin class. This class seems to be a mixture of a warrior and a healer, having the abilities of both. He can switch between two stances (provided you don’t auto) , one that is more attack heavy and the other more defensive.

As for the world, 35 new stages will be added to trek through, along with a new raid (Leviathan) which puts players up against a giant tortoise creature with a deadly tail. This should give players new set of gear to look forward to, although it’s said that this update will be challenging, so best go into chapter 3 prepared.

In addition, players will be able to buy a 2nd skill set for their characters, ensuring they don’t need to reset their current point distribution. It will cost a few rubies, but this should allow for better optimization in the various modes. Players will also be able to customize their team sets, allowing easy access to them quickly, which will be good for those with plenty of deified characters. One of the best enhancements, though, will be the new ability to unequip gear from allies, along with three extra equipment slots. Before it was just two weapon pieces and a chestpiece, but now they’re able to wear headgear, gauntlets and leggings. This should add extra defense to allies, although it’ll be a lot more management of items.

Best yet, we have confirmed that level-up potions will be included in this update, allowing users to spend precious rubies to bring new or existing characters straight up to level 80, bypassing chapters 1 and 2. This is great considering a more streamlined experience for the first two chapters won’t be coming in this update. Don’t fret, though, as we’ve been told this change be coming a couple weeks into February.

Other than that, the level cap has been increase to 83, there’s a new and improved mailbox system, and the archer and mage classes are receiving some buffs. The number of allies will be increasing by 10, along with five addition slots for characters to be created, and twenty more slots in your inventory and storage. This is the biggest update in a long while for Dragon Blaze, and it’s looking glorious.
